NHPC : PM Modi inaugurated NHPC’s Solar Power plant worth INR 1732 crore in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Employing a state-of-the-art technology, including high-efficiency bifacial modules made in India. The electricity generated will be transmitted through the Bikaner – ll Inter State Transmission System Substation, with an annual output projected at around 750 million units of green power. This will offset carbon dioxide emissions by approx. 18000 million metric tons over its lifespan.

LIC : LIC India has launched “Amritbaal”, an insurance plan for children, which is basically a non linked saving life insurance plan designed to have an adequate corpus to meet the higher education and other needs of children. The minimum sum assured for this policy is 2 lakh and there is no maximum SA.

Wipro : Wipro has informed the stock exchange that it has completed acquisition of 60% stake in Aggne Global IT Services Pvt. Ltd. and Aggne Global Inc.

Reliance: Reliance Industries is reportedly in discussions to acquire a 29.8% stake in Tata Play, from Walt Disney. The potential deal is a strategic move to strengthen its presence in India’s television distribution sector and expand the reach of its OTT platform, JioCinema. Tata Sons, the holding company of the Tata group, currently holds a majority 50.2% stake in Tata Play.

Coal India : The mining major declared an interim dividend of INR 1.5. Shares will trade ex-dividend on 20 February 2024.

Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd : The defense PSU declared an interim dividend of INR 22. Shares will trade ex-dividend on 20 February 2024.

Power Finance Corporation : PFC has declared an interim dividend of INR 3.5. Shares will trade ex-dividend on 20 February 2024.

SAIL : The steel major declared an interim dividend of INR 1. Share will trade ex-dividend on February 2024.
